+notes: I love making textures-- there is something so grounding about it. And for the chaos that is my regular journal, this allows me to become virgo so to speak. This is not like my usual set, I have spent weeks playing with colours, filters and blurs. Make no mistake there WILL BE more grunge-y textures, however this is a departure from my usual style (curious about my style and new here? check my tags, previous sets can be found there!). Also, I maintain that I will never create a texture that I can't myself use, so there will be textures from this series that were put on other icons I've recently made (ahahaha guinea pigs!).

+notes: I wanted to make a set of textures, I had it all set and ready to go however there was so much that I had to focus on the past couple of weeks (like icon challenges and such), that I was like "Okay, gonna give it a break-- post some icons, get myself in the groove that way". However here I am, back to texture-making with a BRAND NEW SET. The first is Aurora and then the second one is like the first one but Alternative colours. All taken from stock photos as well as brushes that I've picked up on my travels, oh yes and a LOT OF GAUSSIAN BLUR AND OVERLAY.

Note: I know these are very grungy-- but I like to switch it up. With all of my textures as well as my icons, I never know EXACTLY what will come out-- if you can use them, that is awesome!
