: textures - HODGEPODGE :

+notes: I love making textures-- there is something so grounding about it. And for the chaos that is my regular journal, this allows me to become virgo so to speak. This is not like my usual set, I have spent weeks playing with colours, filters and blurs. Make no mistake there WILL BE more grunge-y textures, however this is a departure from my usual style (curious about my style and new here? check my tags, previous sets can be found there!). Also, I maintain that I will never create a texture that I can't myself use, so there will be textures from this series that were put on other icons I've recently made (ahahaha guinea pigs!).

Oh wow! I've only recently discovered iconmaking and love your textures, and then you go and make more of them?! My heart cannot handle it. I like the diverse set here; I think I'll get the most use from 49 to 54, which look delightfully abstract yet alive.

Oh my gosh thank you so much! Well I have another set I am working on but goodness I definitely want to see what you make with them? You have an icon journal by any chance that I can follow?

I don't have an icon journal, but here's my icon tag! The last few batches have been a bit texture-light, but I'm about to embark upon another 50-icon endeavor. (I set myself a challenge of 10 icons per episode to get more bang for my buck from the screencaps I take for a rewatchalong I host.) I think it should be possible to follow only one tag from someone?

I saw them and they are great! Also if you are getting into iconning, nexticon is also very good! Been taking a hiatus on making icons because famdom consumption has swallowed me whole but next icon is fun and a "make an icon based on the last icon made" type deal.

Lots of really great journals on DW involving iconning!
